#5 - You Need Another 1,000 Gold to Use Your Flying Mount
Remember when you hit level 70 and you finally spent your hard earned gold to train Expert riding and buy your flying mount? It took a while didn't it? Then you went on to earn 5,000 gold so you can fly even faster by buying an epic flying mount. I bet that took just as long too.
Welcome to WOTLK. Have fun investing some more time into leveling to 77. Once you're there, you can drop another 1,000 gold on cold winter flying, an expensive skill that lets you fly the same mount you already use in Outland...
#4 - Blizzard's Attempt to Make Quests "Fun" is EPIC FAIL
I'm sure tons of people used to complain about having to do the same old quests back in Azeroth and Outland: Kill 10 of X, Collect 5 of X, etc... In order to satisfy the whiners, Blizzard decided to make the quests more... "fun". Now your typical WOTLK quest has a 3rd part to it! Example: Kill 10 of X, use this special magical item on its corpse, it has a pretty sparking effect. It may or may not spawn Y, which you must kill. If Y somehow doesn't bug out before you kill it, loot Z from its corpse, but the drop rate is 10%.
Also, a good portion of the new WOTLK quests are some kind of flying/bombing mission or involve the new WOTLK vehicles, like tanks, cannons, etc.. These quests are not fun and the WoW vehicle system is extremely buggy.
Seriously Blizzard, keep it simple please. We just want to kill some shit and hit 80. We don't even read your quests descriptions anymore now that we have QuestHelper.
#3 - Blizzard Wants Everyone to Run Heroics
Any decent PvE or PvP epic is dropped in a Heroic instance, or is obtained by using Emblems dropped by Heroic bosses. Now that Heroics aren't only for elite players, every other player and his/her grandma is trying to run Heroics to get his/her purples. 90% of the players don't know what they're doing and have no idea what "aggro" is. In WOTLK, you will frequently wipe and have your epic drops ninja'd by newbs who don't know the difference between greed and need.
#2 - You Don't Really Get New Skills
"Cool, new expansion! That must mean I get a ton of new skills to play with!" Actually - no. Most of the new skills added to the game don't alter the game significantly. You'll most likely be sticking with the skills you were using at 70. As of writing this article, most serious PvP and PvE specs that are being published don't even make use of the new WOTLK skills (at least for certain classes, pls don't kill me).
It's okay. Your class was probably nerfed anyways. Time to /reroll.
#1 - You Don't Suck Anymore
Remember back when you were 60? Epics were a dream, achieved only by meganerds with 39 friends, 8 hours to waste a night, and lucky rolls. You'd see them in Ironforge or Orgrimmar and it was like brushing shoulders with God. Then The Burning Crusade came out and you actually got to be friends with these purple legends. They just had 9 friends and 4 hours to waste. They were almost normal people. But then, once you picked up WotLK, a funny thing happened... Your character turned into an eggplant the second you hit 80. Sure, it sounds great in theory, but where's the drive to improve now? You're just as leet as everyone else. WoW has turned into exactly what it's always been for the über leet: An extremely advanced chat client.

#5 Are you seriously bishing about 1k gold that can be grinded in two evenings of questing? Get over it.
#4 There are a lot of quest chains in wotlk with story, animation, to make it appealing to more people.
#3 It is the fastest way of getting gear so why wouldn't you run heroics? There is also a thing called "Armory" just so you don't have to risk running with someone that doesn't know anything.
#2 Doesn't look like any aspect of this game interests you, not sure why you even played as long as you have.
#1 Once again, you try to make the game appealing to all when it comes out just like with every expansion. New people will buy the game they don't want to get left behind just because you have a day 1 account. With each season it will get more difficult to obtain highler level of gear just like T4, T5, T6.

This list is retarded, you sound like every QQ'er on the forums rolled up into one. at #4 the quests in Nr were awesome, had a really good drop rate and involved flying on dragonback, bombing runs, hilarious poop out a berry for the next person to eat and the phasing throughout the story lines allowed it to feel like it was actually progressing and not a static world.
And if you can't make 1k gold in a couple days, you suck.

I dont agree with all the list, for instance Number 5 isnt that bad, as you actually get more then 1k gold before level 77.
But every other point with this post is SPOT FREAKING ON! Number 1 pretty much sums up the stupidty of WoW now a days. It is entirely too easy to gain top tier items as an individual, and has completely killed the idea of guilds... Plus the amount of content is extremely limited as there are only a few simple raids. Billard really disappointed with this expansion.

i have enjoyed the new content and the fact that i dont have to spend every waking hour to stay current with my guild. where i used to raid every night and caught hell with my significant others about my wow time, i now can have my life and wow too. nice going blizz on the new content.

I agree with everything - quest rewards are just items you got from the last quest only pumped up an incremental amount. Every quest is some drivel about researching your enemy or clearing the way for your ally. Even with perpetually rested exp and completing EVERY quest with QH, it feels like it takes me days to peck away at my exp bar. Blizzard makes great games, but this is just over the line. They make so much money already that they are not justified artificially inflating the time we spend doing repetitive chores. Most people will power through because the promise of the end game content is alluring. Well I hate to bust your bubbles, but the endgame is just more grinding and running stupid chores. I for one can not stand it any more. I am going to go back to Outland to fly around and grief as many Alliance as I can until my subscription runs out. Kicking ass is all I ever wanted to do, but I am not going to sit through days of the same old quests to do it.

This is exactly what is wrong with the world. No one cares about story anymore, just alot of mindless idiots running around bashing things. Also, having quick access to good gear doesn't get rid of sucking. If a noob gets full t7.5, he is still a noob with bad dps because his rotation and spec are horrible. As for all your comments, I disagree with them all. You complain that more people can get epics because you are so narcissistic that you dont like seeing other people walking around town with as good as gear as you. I was never that way when I cleared naxx pre-bc. Just get over yourself and how your not special anymore when it comes to gear and actually read and learn whats going on in the game instead of arriving at the final boss in Icecrown Citadel and saying "Who is the Lich King guy and what does he have to do with these guys, Arthas and Ner'zhul?"

i couldnt agree more with this list, #1 wasnt really a big deal for me, but the rest srsly ruined the game for me, especialy number 1. every fucktard can so easily get purples. i remember when u had to work for your gear, spending countless hours wiping and learning on bosses. now u run 10 heroics and ur just as buffed as an actual raider

i need to talk about the quests part..in Isle in tbc i used to do all quests and camp alliance there:P
and i used to come up with 150-180gold Mix
Wotlk show up and now i come up with only 140gold from doing 8quests and after doing other 3on ebon blad i get about 220gold or maybe 250 and after 2hours of dailys i come up with 120 gold because i have to fix my gear,after that i go to the action house and i find the sockets for spell power are 180gold each..now i have to spend a whole week for that or i should buy online gold to level a JC prof..
