A key milestone in Australian eSports.
ESL Australia has announced a new partnership with St.George Bank for Season Two of the ESL AU & NZ Championship.
St.George Bank is the first financial institution to support the rapidly growing eSports scene in Australia and is one of the first businesses to support the competitive scene in Australia without being previously associated with the gaming or computing industries.
“We are delighted to bring St.George on board with us as the inaugural Presenting Partner of our ESL AU & NZ Championship. Recognition of esports within Australia has progressed as the audience has grown immensely in recent years, and the support of an organisation such as St.George is a key milestone on the journey of esports within the region.” Nick Vanzetti said.
Season Two of the ESL AU & NZ Championship will offer over $35,000 in cash prizes across Halo, Counter Strike and Hearthstone.
